Maria Iliffe-Wood

Coaching Presence is a book for anyone who uses coaching or a coaching style in their work.  The relationship between the coach and the client is the biggest contributing factor to the success of the coaching.   The biggest factor in developing this relationship is the presence of the coach.  This book offers a way of thinking about your coaching presence.  It helps you to identify factors that may be impacting on your presence and a way of consciously thinking about this in your coaching relationships.

The author, Maria Iliffe-Wood is the Managing Director of Meridian Iliffe Ltd. She has been coaching for over 25 years and provides Executive and Leadership Team coaching. She supports coaches to develop their coaching practice and provides coach supervision on a one to one and group basis.

She is a Co Coaching Forum Regional Lead for the Association for Coaching and she guest lectures on the Masters in Leadership Coaching programme and the MBA programme at the University of Derby.

What do our clients say about us?

Maria Iliffe-Wood’s contribution to the coaching world is a must-read. The structure follows four coaching "modes", the Invisible, Emergent, Evident and Visible Coach Modes. These form a simple and inspired base for the developing coach, whilst at the same time not being simplistic. I recommend this book to all those interested in coaching.
